In the fall of 2023, 14 hotels in the Sedona area launched the Greater Sedona Business Improvement District (BID). The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau was appointed as the administrator to oversee and coordinate the BID's activities.
The Greater Sedona BID is designed to fund promotional and economic development initiatives that aim to boost revenue for all businesses in Sedona and its surrounding regions.
Currently, approximately 1,000 hotel rooms are involved in the BID, encompassing a total of 14 hotels, resorts, and bed-and-breakfast establishments.

The Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) was created by City Council to advise Council and city staff on the creation of the City's tourism program. The initial 12-month work plan will include advising on a tourism strategic plan, brand/identity development, summer marketing campaign(s), and a Sustainable Tourism Plan update.

The City of Sedona, Arizona, is the official destination management organization (DMO) for the city as of last July. The city took over the role after the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau decided not to renew its contract with the city.
